Good morning! I was sorry to learn that Ryan Wilson has stepped down as editor of Literary Matters, a publication of the Association of Literary Scholars, Critics, and Writers (ALSCW), and that its future is in doubt: “Later this Summer, a retrospective issue (17.1) will appear, and that issue will be my last. I sincerely hope that Literary Matters will be able to continue after my departure, but its future is, at present, uncertain. For now, all submissions are closed indefinitely.” Literary Matters is an excellent publication, and I hope it continues. The one piece of good news is that Wilson is headed to the University of St. Thomas in Houston to teach in the school’s growing MFA program.
