Thank you for the marvelous collection of thoughts on "The Hollow Men" and the musicality of Eliot's work. It brought back memories of my first academic appointment in the Theatre Department at Our Lady of the Lake College (now University I believe). The Department Chair was a Sister of Divine Providence with a Ph.D. from Northwestern who loved Eliot and Reader's Theatre. She did an arrangement of Eliot's poems for voices and dance. My then wife and I were the readers while the dancers were students in the dance program. It was an artistic success. The following year we repeated with a setting from poems from e.e. cummings again with dance. This was in the late sixties in those optimistic and buoyant times of Pope Paul and fundamental change in the Roman Catholic church.
